Many good people died to allow us the freedom to vote - not to take it is an absolute disgrace ........... and those people should SHUT UP!!
What has that got to do with Iraq and Blair's lies? I agree that people should exercise their right to vote but they still have the right to criticise this government whether they voted or not.

Absolutely - and so will at least 45% of the population, I agree that means 55% will actively vote against him - but, Maggie Thatcher had many more votes against her than for her .............. but thats how it is.

Its a fact that Blair will get in again, and I truly see NO alternative!!

However, if I decide NOT to vote FOR Blair then I WILL deface my ballot paper ..................... and this is my point, I will excercise my right to vote and therefore my right to complain if I don't like what happens!

For so many armchair moaners on here its just a bit too much effort to cast a vote and to those despicable individuals I give their opinions little credit

I'm sure the families of those killed will take great comfort that their deaths helped gain a few seats for President Bush. A very worthy cause

So, let's be sure we all vote next time then. If we took a vote right here, right now, pissy and his mob of liars would be gone in seconds.

You don't want to do that. Your colostomy bag will overflow!

These soldiers were helping to make Iraq a better place, but sadly will just end up as a statistic at the end of the day (of course they won’t to their friends and family).

I heard once (on the radio I think – a long time ago) that there has only been one year since the end of WW2 when no British soldier (on active service) has been killed.

All those helping to make Iraq (and thus the world) a safer, better place to live deserve this country’s full support. Why don’t you complainers actually get behind those who are trying to make things better instead of trotting out the same old tired phrases time after time.

Let me ask you this, would you like to see Iraq in an even worse state than it is now? From some of the posts on Scoobynet, I almost sense glee at the present situation, a kind of smug “told you so” or “I don’t care what happens as long as Bush/Blair take a pasting” attitude, well if you think you could do better then run for parliament.

Move on......

PS I’m sensing a lot of bitterness since Tuesday

WTF has voting or not voting got to do with the tragic and needless death of these soldiers? I don't care whether or not someone voted, nor whom they voted for in this context. This thread is about 3 soldiers who died because of Bush's war on terror, his need to secure an extra few votes in a very close election, and Blairs enthusiasm to do whatever Bush tells him.

You have answered your own question you muppett!! YOU have blamed Blair for the deaths, with Bush as an aide to those deaths - Blair was VOTED in by the people .......... those who could be bothered to vote

And you still can't see the link?????????????????????? I can see why you didn't vote now - the insane cannot!!

I think we are going way off topic here.

3 families are devastated tonight, and really our thoughts should be with them

Pete, instead of rambling on about the voting system, would you care to put any input into this thread about the unnecessary death of 3 of OUR servicemen. Remember all the gubbings with bigley, liverpool in mourning, minute silence at football games etc etc. These soldiers will see none of that and that's a crime in itself.

It was blair's decision to move the black watch north and this has resulted in 4 deaths so far. If he had left them where they were in basra these 4 familes would 99.99% still have there loved ones.

No-one else apart from the government can be blamed pete. Why not leave them in basra? They were ordered to move north and so 4 men are down. It was after all blairs decision, he was well within his rights to say no and leave the black watch in basra.
His friendship with bush has cost 4 lives. He's went a step to far!

Go on pete, argue with this point. You seem to be arguing blacks white and whites black. 3 families are devastated tonight, have some sympathy. Have you not any sons or daughters?

Who said I didn't vote?

For crying out loud you troll, voting has nothing to do with this incident. Even an insane/inane/incontinent carrot can see that. Be a good boy and get nursey to tuck you in, and let those of us not battling with dementia have a sensible discussion.

These were the words that started the thread:-

"Really sad to read.
Bush and Blair make me sick to the stomach"

How do you think Bush and Blair got in the position to make life and death decisions??? People voted them IN! Thats where the VOTING thread came from! - see?

By the way, BUSH was elected by the BIGGEST vote in HISTORY!! Not really a vote of no confidence is it??

Blair will win a landslide as well next Spring - because they are RIGHT and JUST in their actions.

The 3 soldiers killed today (don't lets forget the Iraqi translater who was also killed) were doing their job ....... MORE than 3 people died in THIS country doing THEIR jobs too - care to mourn those?? AND the 3 who will die tomorrow doing their job, and the next day???

If you become a roofer you may die, if you become an electrician on HV cables you might die, if you are a soldier you might die ......... all this holier than thou crap is sickening!!

My point to the first post, before you came along with all your bu11****.
Was that there was really no reason to move the Black Watch North, It was done for one reason only, to help Bush secure his place at the white house.

Blair didnt need to send them, it was a tiny number to send, and would make no REAL differnce in the war.

IT WAS DONE TO WIN VOTES.

Its sad to say but tonight i have seen what a real p12ick you are pete.

Your senile lunacy is preventing you from seeing that it doesn't matter whether or not someone voted.

You are also missing the point that all the examples you give are called accidents. A suicide bomber targetting troops, who are there solely because Bush wanted them there (and that Blair was ever eager to oblige), is hardly an accident.

And you work closely with Blair and Bush do you?? So you are stating a FACT are you??

Of course you're not - you are stating YOUR opinion, I happen to think you are talking absolute bollox - as you do me ..............

I can assure you of one thing ..... you wouldn't call me a ***** to my face, so don't on here ok? ********!
