Yes mate - we'll be meeting up on Tuesday morning, then picking up Dave Van Steenis near Worthing en route.
How many bottles of NF do you want (1 freebie from me as I owe you one)?
Cheers

But you're correct... I'm not too keen on leading on unfamiliar roads.
And if I spot a nice photo opportunity I'm prone to pulling over without notice

As I'm not taking my mota I may be able to lend my satnav. Depends whether I can get hold of a bigger SD card for the European maps in time; and the tomtom itinerary file format imports to the Palm version. Will see.
I have asked you all before who wanted me to get some - I didn't buy in advance but will do tomorrow. I can get it for £9.00 + VAT if I get more than 10 bottles (+ postage) - this is only open for those on this tour. This is a saving of £4.11 per bottle. The postage to my house I wil share amongst us all - so you should be saving nigh on £4 a bottle.
for details - http://www.nitrousformula.com/productblack.htm
So who wants some and how much. I believe each bottle can treat up to 300 litres and so I will go for 3 bottles. John (555JRA) wants some too and I owe you one already - please confirm how many you want.
I will then bring them all with me on Tuesday and you can pay me on the day.
So how many do you want??
List - please copy and update into your own posts
1. Terry x 3
2. John - 555JRA x 3
Cheers

stuart or charliewhiskey, can you email me the route files you've created please, I'll have a go at putting them into destinator.
Solved my problems with the feedback on the pc
Ground loop isolator from maplins, £8.99, and all noise now gone
Just need to get the sub working now
chris.
ps, terryb, although I originally asked for some octane booster, I'm getting some myself on sunday, so don't need any now, thanks anyway.

Can I borrow a two way radio, please, Terry?
I have SatNav, and it might *possibly* take us the right route, so don't mind leading a splinter cell... I mean group
Don't require Octane Boost (have a few bottles here), but quite fance night vision goggles, please lol!!

LOL you'll be laughing at us when TomTom has us all going round in circles due to a minor road alteration that's not on the map!
...Jane calmly telling us to 'Do a U turn' or repeatedly 'Turn around when possible'
Grrrrrrrr

I've not seen any decent maps that can match what I have on TomTom 5 or Autoroute!
LOL, we won't be following it THAT literally
It's also useful if we are driving up Stelvio in thick fog, which is always a possibility!

Originally sent to scoobysmacs address but I've sent it to email.com one now
Is the other one still in use?

Not sure if the other address is working, never use that one really.
As I said before scooby66, I'm up for producing the DVD of the event

Update from the continent
Whilst 100 RON isn't available in France yet, the french national news tonight showed footage of the latest fuel available at the pumps - look out for Rapsol selling at €0.69 centimes/litre. What is it? Vegetable oil and they are pumping it. I kid you not.
I have a couple of confirmed attendees for Yverdon-les-bains from the locals both with very nice modified scoobs and certainly one of whom has posted on here in the past and runs an accessories business. The other guy is a mate of mine and his motor was featured in Sub magazine issue 14 -- Keith if you are reading, he's featured on pages 14 to 18. JoBlack can't make it as he'll be stuck in work but sends his very best regards to you all.

Not checked on the floods and road closures recently.
But we're used to a bit of water up in the Peaks

... even my Skoda (although halfway across I had a few doubts
)

You are most welcome
I have plotted the remaining closed roads on Autoroute, there are currently 3 which directly affect the route and a few that affect possible diversion routes.
I will keep an eye on these over the weekend to see if they re-open.
H10 Schachen and Wolhusen in both directions closed*
Grimselpass - closed
Sustenpass - closed
* was gonna cut across between Ebligen and Brienz (to avoid that) but that's closed in both directions due to a landslide.
Some of the other roads still have roadworks on them due to the storm damage.
That leaves us with one diversion route Thun-Luzern for which we would need a Vignette or there is an alternative slightly longer way to Luzern from Wolhusen.
I'll keep you posted
