haha could 'sell' you some of hers too, maybe swap?
Plans are leave engine for now until I get used to it (already has PPP - 240BHP) and stick on some new alloys (thinking 17" Anthracite), colour code some bits, STi6 Splitter + spoiler and clear lights and maybe a bigger Exhaust back box

Without wanting to be too depressing Colin - you may not be out of the woods with the key fob I'm afraid
Quite often when any sort of PCB (key fob, mobile phone etc) has contact with liquid it stops working - you put it on radiator / airing cubpoard etc and it starts working as the liquid has dried and sorted the short out. Sounds like you so far................
However, often this will leave a corrosive residue on the board, and over a period of days it will eat into the PCB tracks and all of a sudden it will stop working again
Hopefully you'll be fine, but just to warn you incase it does start playing up a few weeks down the line.........
Can you get into the key fob??? If so then giving any bits that got wet a bit of a clean up with some distilled water should help avoid the above
Cheers,
Matt
