I agree! just got back into it again only trouble is I have got to do all the 50 lap, 300k races etc still and I do them instead of assignments! I like loads of the cars on the game, my fave on the first one was the raced up cebera but I am undecided on GT2 as there are so many to choose from! For comedy value it got to be the Espace F1 though! Whats the general opinion of the best cars on the game then?

Take Cem's advice on this - very surprising, fast, handling amazing. Make sure you get the stage 4 turbo on it though

 

try the Lexus Alteza 280T ... superb with the mods!

 

I love the GT40 and the Toyota racecar - excellent. I know what you mean about the Laguna Seca track, but it's addictive trying to get the cork screw right !!

absolutely nuts! about 800bhp I think and can go from 200mph -&gt; 40mph in 80 metres!

The SYLVIA has to be the best, especially
with slicks as it just drifts round corners.
SEATTLE has best track, but I hate LAGUNA as it was the hardest to get your licence on
especially with the ORCA, piece of pi55 now
but that hatred is ingrained on my soul
sorry about that' yeah it's a fantastic game,
the endurance races are a tad tedious as it's pretty easy with the right car to win...
Went back to GT1 which was great, although
a little slow!!

I bought one a few weeks back. The way to get the standard one is to visit the Scooby garage each day and visit the used section.

Eventually a second hand 22B will turn up and it is quite cheap - 50,000 or something. You have to keep looking each time you have a race though as it only shows up now and then.

Edited to ask if anyone else has managed to get the Spoon Honda S2000 - Equip it with the racing exhaust and you have the best sounding car in the game - just sit on the line and rev it up and down, then listen to it on the replay. Yum Yum!!!!

I think I've got nearly every car in the game, but how do I get a Lancia Stratos???

Fav car in the game is the Toyota GT1 handles really well when you get it right, spins and crashes when you don't.
Pykes Peak car is fun but makes the game too easy.
The S4 is soo funny but for mind bending grunt and grip it has to be the RUF CTR.

PS if you want a giggle try the Fiat 500 in full race trim. I defy anyone not to spin that car

You get a rally prepared 22b if you win the 300km endurance race. Does anyone know if you win a different car depending on the car you used to win a race? Nearly everything I win is Skyline based. (I nearly always use my STI VI with everything fitted)

 

Gotta be the Pikes Peak Escudo thingy, seriously cool car. using it does amount to cheating though as nothing can really catch it.

Must say that apart from a modded black WRX Wagon (for obvious reasons ) my other main car is a fully modded Ruf car, which I think is the CTR, it's the 4wd one, not the rwd, I'm not that silly!

 

I saw somewhere that the 22B appears after day 200 in the Subaru Used Cars section.

I also believe that the Stratos is won from the Endurance races (can't remember which one, sorry) but there's a choice of 2 cars to be won on each race. Don't know how the game chooses which one to award...

Forgot to say I also have a fully modded and turbocharged Subaru mini car - cant remember the model but it is an old 600cc thing. Not much better when modded even though it reads about 150bhp???
