Absolutely fantatsic.... same material as the DVD. Don't normally laugh out loud when I'm watching something on my own but I woke the wife up !!

Very funny guy. Did like the bit about taping the top 40 off the radio and trying to stop the tape before the DJ spoke

How many evenings my sister and I spent doing that I don't know.

He reminds me a little of Billy Connelly. His humour is mostly observation not stand up jokes and all the funnier for it.

Phoenix Nights is pure class. One legged Elvis impersonator anyone?

I think he is a very funny bloke but I think some people laugh over the top at some of his stuff. The observation about your mum wanting 3 rings and answers on the second was hardly side splittingly hilarious, it was just a remotely amusing observation yet the audience were p!ssing themselves. I found some of his other stuff very funny indeed but it annoys me when people think they have to laugh to the maximum at every single thing he says

Its usually very funny if it happened to you that way - me being a Northerner its probably even funnier for me compared to others.

The 3 rings thing is so true for my childhood

It is so true for me as well, but to me I just don't find that sort of observation hilarious when its made on its own

Billy Connolly on the other hand I find funny the whole time because he involves more comedy in with his observations and makes it sound so much funnier
