I've got his Bolton Alberts and Blackpool tower DVDs so have seen most of his stuff many, many times. But it's the mark of a great comic if it still makes you laugh! And it did - IM sits next to me reminding me to breathe!
Every single time I see him do Danny Boy with the helium balloon I'm reduced to tears. Brilliant!

never seen much of his stuff before but saw this last night after watching him do another stand-up show and a couple of episodes of phoenix nights, have to say very good guy, very funny!

never watched pheonix nights - only saw bits of the episode with the horse and the fire officer - "was she ruff?"

I can honestly say i couldnt stand Peter Kay before i saw that show last night.....and i havent laughed so much at a stand up show in a VERY long time!! I was taken totoally by surprise at just how funny if i found him!!
Couldnt stop laughing throughout the whole thing, and now my other half has convinced me that next time he's touring, we're gonna try and get tickets!!!

Ditto - I think we'll be looking for tickets next time too.
I noticed a few of the audience had "Garlic Bread?" & "T'Internet" t-shirts on. We bought the Blackpool dvd at the weekend but i must admit that the one last night (Same as the Bolton Albert Halls dvd) was a lot funnier.
