Proof of non-existence

TelBoy,
OK. Maybe not *impossible*, just very very very difficult to the point of near impossible and cirtain impractibility...
Just a few reasons why...
1) The lunar rocks show a complete absens of water bearing materials. Something that no rocks on earth do.
2) The rocks themselves cooled very slowly. To re-create this would required keeping the rocks at 1100 C for years, cooling them slowly at thousands of pounds per square inch pressure. (you may state that that's what happens to earth rocks so why can't they be from earth? See point 1).
3) The rocks are over 4 billion years old. Older than any rocks found on earth. They just don't last as long here due to errosion and tectonic activity. Things lacking on the moon.

According to Karl Popper (20th century philospoher of science), statements can never be shown to be conclusively true, they can only withstand attempts at falsification.
The best you can hope for is to say that a statement has withstood numerous attempts to disprove it. You can never guarentee that the next time you test a hypothesis you won't show it to be false.
Even when you get into formal proofs used in mathematics you have no absolute certainty, thanks to a fella called Godel - he proved that for any consistent mathematical system there will be statements that can neither be proved or disproved.
In short, don't trust anyone - especially NASA
