Default AV Questions

I've recently bought a decent telly and want to get the best from it, so I need to know the best way to connect up the following - Aerial, Freeview box and VCR. (I also have a DVD but that's connected with a component video interconnect so no probs there).
What's the best way to do this, and is it really worth buying properly shielded aerial cables?
Ta.

hmm - get the best interconnects you can afford - personally I wouldnt spend less that £20 on a scart socket but you need to get up to the £50 point to get really good stuff.

don't have freeview or a video!
