And I suppose by the same token you *could* be a left wing, lesbian, rich kid, who's never done a days work and still lives at home. But then again, it's really none of my business.

I always think it's a good policy not to make assumptions about people you no nothing about as you can so easliy end up making a fool of yourself.

dba - I thought I expressed an opinion when I opened this thread. That one must have passed you by though.

Do you have a problem with smilies I often sign my posts thus...

When I said "at least I know what he stands for!!" it was intended to be sarcastic. If you knew me better you would realise that.

I'm actually laying them as a border to a patio, set in mortar, so no sheeting required.

There are a great deal of undesirable people within any racial group.

White People = Chavs/Pikies
Black People = Yardies/Gangsters
Asians = The Hayez squad?!?

On a more serious note, my initial point remains. There are undesirables in any social group. There were gangsters in London before the mass influx of immigrants in the 1950s, and there would be gangsters even if this had not happened.

Just because you are black does not mean you deserve different treatment than anyone else. Just because you are Muslim, you don't deserve different treatment than anyone else.

Nick Griffin may be misguided, but he should be able to voice his opinions just as the 'Muslim Council of Britain' should be able to.

The first muslim MP to be elected into parliament was accused of vote rigging before he was elected, and offered other MPs cash to lie under oath. Both times he pulled the racism card.

The first BNP MP to be elected oh wait - there aren't any.

This isnt the 1930s - people HAVE learnt. The BNP will unlikely ever gain any significant power in the UK, but I believe that if they were more a lobbyist group to put pressure on the government to focus on immigration etc, they would be a damn sight more successful. People know they are racist, but they are doing themselves more harm than good being so in the public limelight.

Furthermore, it would be worth reading about the 'anti-fascist' group that aided the production of the TV program that slated the BNP. Its called 'Searchlight' and has been routinely discredited as an accurate source of opinion. The Micheal Moore of British politics if you will - extreme propoganda, with little evidence.

I certainly agree that Griffin should be allowed to voice his opinion, but I would not trust him or his organisation in any way whatsoever.
