For non fans of footie, we have football pushed on every TV channel, every radio station etc, cant get away from it.
People are obvuously free to enjoy any sport, but if you werent a fan of, I dont know, swimming, but everything in Britain with regards TV, radio, adverts etc was shoving swimming down your throat, you'd probably be posting about how annoying it is. I'm sorry but most of the time football doesn't get a look in these days on terrestrial TV. Take the other day where there were 3 episodes of Corination Street on in one day!! 3 fooking episodes and that doesn't inlcude any other soaps that were on ie. Emmerdale and some of the lesser well known.
Some weeks both Corrers and Eastenders are on 5 days a week.
They easily take up the most playtime. This doesn't even include the omnibus editions
Now along comes a few football matches and as already pointed out football is the biggest spectator sport on the planet.
The whingers are out in force from the first kick off giving it all this rubbish about it's over exposure, all fans are hooligans yadda yadda yadda. Why don't all these soap fans stop whinging and have a life of their own rather than watch someone elses!!

Football is **** and the fans are ****.
Soaps are **** and the fans are ****.
Both examples are of people living their lives through someone else's life or achievements instead of achieving something themselves. The only thing is, one is purely fictional ****e, and the other is a soap opera..
