So it's all cut and dried then Si?

You won't be wanting the service manual I was going to bring you on CD?

/walks off into the distance, huffing loudly/

Did you get the mirror fixed? (the reason for the manual in the first place)

The Fenay Bridge don't have a large screen TV.

All they've got is a 14" in the restaurant (which can show the match)... Can we not jury rig something up by taking a bigger TV ot projector?

IMO, what's there is better than nothing.. but, as Ian asks, is anyone going to bail out to watch the match somewhere else?

I only ask as 'The Bridge' can let a chef or two go if there's only going to be a small number..

Hands up.. Definately Going

Me.

Simple enough, need the money for other things in the immediate future...

Ultimately, saving for a large enough deposit to put down on a GT3 later next year.... Or at least that's the plan.... And that is the Porky one, not the PS2 game....

Apple

Yeah, got the mirror, glass only, so I now know how to fix. Not done it yet though, not had the time...

You can still burn me a copy of the service manual tho, as you never know if I might turn up in a T25 next year instead.... LOL

Cheers

Si,

I'd already burnt you a copy and was going to bring it along, unless I hand it to Chris for safe-keeping...

CB

Can your laptop read pdf files and burn cds?

If so, all you need is a blank disc or stick it on your HD - it's only about 80 Mb.

I've only got high capacity cds so it's a bit of a waste of brass copying a load from here...

let me know what you think but I'm off out tonight...

PDF's no problem. If I bring the lappy to Fenay I can just do a Disc Image. Either that or I'll just bring a disc and you can pop it in the post or wait 'til you see me next, which is probably better than carting £1k of Mac to the pub.

Cheers.

work away for two days and theres 3 pages to read through

well.. I wont be able to make it now on Thurs (not because of footy, I'll miss that aswell) got to work. just finished watching the Croatia game that I recorded.. well impressed with the result

As regards to the possible change, I'm easy (no comments) and I'll go with the majority.

I would like some idea of wether to keep the new forums software or go back to the origional though , no matter what name is decided.

just an idea of what people think of the format, rather than colour scheme etc will do, as that can easily be changed.

addy is www.wypcoc.150m.com

Have a good one fellas

Phil

Do we need to bring our own cans of lager, so we can pretend we're watching it at home?

Lightbulb prediction 2 - 1 to England

Tough choice for me, I really want to watch the footy, As there's not many members going it kind of defeats this objective in one way as we need to discuss the clubs future, Is it worth concidering re-scheduling ? or going ahead with a small meet followed by a bigger meet in a few weeks..

Just an idea

Maddy

Fair point mate. Might be an idea to defer the discussion - and certainly the decision - until we have a fuller attendance.

Now, if Ingerland had been knocked out when they should, we would have been able to deal with more pressing matters.... Did I ever mention that I couldn't give a stuff about football??

I'll be brave.

How does everyone feel about rescheduling. I've had a look at the footie fixtures list and there's a semi next thursday, so we could consider next tuesday 29th or push it to the following thursday 8th. The later one will take us close to the July meet and our Dales run, but if we can all stand seeing each other twice in a month it shouldn't be a problem.

Open to the forum.

Here, here !

PS. I went to a Lotus meet last night. They put us a little to shame guys. About 25 cars , big speaches , clipboards , driving like to55ers . Chatted to a few, they have a healthy event scene. 2 of them were about to set off on a 2 week tour of Scandanavia Only had one guy sniping at Scoobys, reckoned he kept up with an STi in his 20 year old Esprit. Possible, but not likely, especially if it rains

In that case Dave - how about we meet tomorrow AND next Thursday? Should be a sensible meeting...

Next thurs no good, there's another semi. It's all over by the 4th, so thurs 8th makes sense. I prefer tues 29th (better weather forecast ) but how does everyone else feel ?

I'm up for tomorrow too, even if it's only a few of us.
