was witness to the above RR day - can confirm this was a noisy one - however I think the biscuit has to go to the ST.May Shotgun twin exit backbox from those crazy japanese - basically two times the Blitz etc - for the ultimate throb!

its not too loud from in car but i have been told by friends that its very loud and they can normally hear me before they see me.
It seems louder with the bonnet blank taken off.

It is a custom straight through system. It is fairly noisy!

Have you got a bung to put it in to make it quieter otherwise you will go deaf soon

Have you got a bung like the blitz Nur Spec R which you can put in to make the exhaust quieter?
Driving round with your custom exhaust (and no bung) all the time must be deafening!

Trout - perchance would that be a 'Pat spec' system? Have heard it's a tad fruity.
Personal experience says that a nice full decat and Nur Spec R, sans bung, is rather loud, just what you want for a tunnel run

No idea..
I know that when i had my full decat with Firestorm, it was pretty loud..but nothing compared to the Nur Spec R, which, i never had any police problems with.

I think there are limits, but I would have thought you'd only get done if complaints were actually made, or the copper was having a boring day and wanted to book you.
You could ask on http://www.5ive-o.com/web/index.php I'm sure they would know.

Just found the notes I made for our rolling road at prosport a while ago. took my spl with me, stood about 6 foot away from the back of the cars, and measured them on tickover and on what I thought was full boost.
Mine tickover 92db full boost 118 (scoobysport downpipe, bpm twister 3" straight through)
Bob Rawles brand new janspeed system: tickover 85 boost 115.
The loudest by far though was tickover 100 boost 122 (custom downpipe, 4" straight through pipe)
I have the reg of the car it was on, but not the name of the driver, but very very loud.

We made a system for Knowles when he worked at SS and that didn't have a silencer at all,in fact we have made 2 of them.
We also made one for a lambo and that had the 2 smallest silencers ever and that measured over 130 db at 4000 rpm.

I got a Blitz Nur Spec back box and stuck it on the other day with my Magnex centre and H&S dp. The Magnex back box is back on and the Blitz has just been put up for auction on Ebay, it was a bit to loud for me

....there is a girl driving about cambridge with a Kakimoto Exhaust on her Scoob. This has got to be heard to be believed. Is not just noise for noise sake...it's the deep bassy thud this thing puts out went cruising or idling. My old Transit is shaken to bits when it goes by.

I have a Blitz Nur Spec R With the optional bolt in Muffler. It is LOUD ! And looks fantastic when nicely polished up !
I use the car for work so looking to find someone with a Hayward & Scott CAT back who would like to swap !
Or if someone wants to make me an offer for the BLitz ??
Shame but it does not go down well with clients !! OR WIFE !!
