Bloody hell - you don't waste time - what mods are getting done to it - it may be the first modded WR1 in the world?!?
This cannot be fitted till the car is registered and insured/taxed.

The WR1 is prodrive tuned so why or how could he add PPP?
The car must be registered with the lower power level for emissions laws etc, then the PPP is retro-fitted to get it up to the 320PS.
If you do a search on here you can read all about it.

Quote from Evo magazine.....
The WR1 is based on a short run of cars created in Japan, just like the RB5 and other special editions before it. In this case the starting point is a 260bhp WRX STi, similar to the one we get here but with a number of enhancements, most significantly that adjustable centre diff and broad blocked, trackday style Bridgestone RE070 tyres.
The engine work that lifts the power to beyond Prodrive's previous 300bhp PPP effort takes the unit right to the limit of what is achievable (and reliable) with the standard injectors and turbo, says Prodrive's Mike Wood. The extra power is liberated by a new, finely tuned ECU program, free-flow cats and a new exhaust back-box. Like the PPP, this kit is not EU homologated and so is fitted post-registration, but all WR1's will have it.

I ordered 2 weeks ago ... dealer still has no date! Does not matter so much about dates (in the short term that is) now that I gotta run in the ZX10R that I picked up a 4pm today
BTW, will the WR1 require running in?
