I am 25 on a modified MY96 sti 2 on my own policy. £1190 with 3 years no claims with Admiral. That is with a £350 total excess as well. Hope this year is as good!

agree 100% with greasemonkey

took insurance out inmy own name aged 17 and drove the all the ****ty cars under the sun but when it came to affording a scoob it was a doddle.... if you do it the other way it's a real false economy later on

PS A large no of Insurance co's are now getting wise to this and putting a full loading on Mr Dad's premium when Mr Son get's added onto insurance.

ie. original quote for Mr Son from Elephant = £2400

so...Mr Dad phones to add Mr Son on to his policy which currently costs Mr Dad £500

That'll be £2900 Mr Dad
