Debra is the company I work fors main charity, IIRC we raised 63K last year.

Each hotel sponsers one family, and the family we are involved with is some of the nicest caring people I have ever met.

I didnt get to watch it, recorded it thou. Did it say that he died getting on the train on the way home RIP

Very very sad

Thanks for the link mate, I've just added to the pot which is now over £16,000 - most of which has been paid since the program was shown last night!

Jonny's experience was an inspiration that we all need from time to time in order to put our priorities back into proper order!

RIP

Jerome

No usually the type of thing I watch - but glad I did. Puts your own life into perspective very quickly indeed.

A very brave man, with a wicked sense of humour. I do hope they show it again soon.

Thanks for the link.
£17,980.73 raised so far.
At least by doing the programme he raised awareness for the charity.
I had never heard of it before last night.
Lets hope that they can use every penny to stop anyone having to go through that kind of suffering again.

BOB, sympathise on the Excema thing, I have never suffered personally but I worked with a guy who was absolutely covered in it, top bloke but it really made life difficult for him. He found some Swiss stuff via the internet and it cleared it up after years of struggling with it, wasnt perfect but truly wonderful to see him improving every day.

Why is it there are all these utterly sh1tty diseases out there, I suppose something will 'get' use all one day but stuff like what Jonny had just seems unbeleivably cruel.

I soooooo wanted to see this programme and had a reminder set for about a week.
She must have ignored the reminder and switched on E4 to watch bloody Friends.

Another vote for a repeat showing here!
Sounds like I missed a really interesting documentary.

Boing.
Managed to watch this tonight.

So glad I caught it....really humbling. I can't moan about F%£$ all really.
