Recommendations for a cheapish Digi.Camera
I want to buy someone a digital camera (new) with reasonable performance and around about £100.
Any suggestions on model and where to get best deal, please?

look at pricerunner for the best prices.
for circa £100 you're probably looking at 3-4 megapixels and no optical zoom, or 2-3 megapixels with 3xoptical zoom.
the problem is, no matter what u get, you'll need a decent sized memory card (add £40) and rechargable batteries with charger (add £15) and case (add £10).. so unless your budget excludes that, you're only left with £35 for the camera
thats the problem i had recently when i wanted to get one for £100. so i ended up spending £200 total and got a sony 4 megapixel with 3x optical zoom and a 256mb memory card and case.
