Fair point. Personally, I have no problems with the standard tyres and I already have the six-spokes in silver. Maybe I'm crazy.

Just picked up on this thread...

Questions:

Are there still cheap wheels / tyres (off P1s) available?

If so are they all gold?

Where is the best place to get them? (I live in Edinburgh but regularly travel to London)

I'm after some 16" wheels / tyres preferably in silver for < 500 quid inc. VAT. Is it really possible or am I dreaming?!

I picked mine up yesterday from Gibsons of Brock near Preston.
They are just becoming available now as the first batch of P1's are prepared.
They are brand new, still have the coloured lines around the tyres!
If you really want silver, they are only gold on the outer face so you could easily have the gold blown over.

I will have a set of MY00 silver alloys and tyres with zero miles on them, off my new motor in May give me a shout if interested I am getting 17" OZ they will have zero miles on them !!
