Just spoke to my local Subaru dealer (Roger at Wilsons) at he said that they have been offered the latest wheels and tyres (gold) for £400 + VAT. Apparently they are off the cars that will become P1's.

Contact your local dealer I guess.

Seems it's true,

only one problem they are the crap 00MY style.

My dealer is checking the price, thinks they sound too cheap.

These are the wheels that have been taken off the STi5's that will become P1's. I have been offered sets by several dealers, in the last two days, as Subaru UK are selling them into the dealer network.

Very good value, at less than the price of replacement tyres alone.

I have spoken with my dealer in Cardiff and they state that the price will be slightly higher than £400 but is a swap price, i.e. they will fit them to your car for this but remove your existing wheels to jazz up some sport models etc.

Spoke to my local dealer today about this. They are ordering a couple of sets, one for me and a couple for them....

Nothing was said about swapping for the fitted ones!

Delivery times to be comfirmed.

My local dealer is getting a set for me next week. He spluttered at the price but agreed. Sounds like there is profit in them for the dealer at £400 + vat but they would like to make more.

He was pleased more customers don't get info from Scoobynet.

THANKS

Im going to be a complete biff here and ask what these wheels look like! I have a good idea what the MY99 wheels look like but no idea about the MY00.

Is there a chance a kind hearted soul could post a photo??

Thanks in advance, Richie.

rang three separate dealers in the N West today - none had heard of these deal - though they all agreed to call me if they heard anything.... has anyone got a fax of a dealer bulletin or other 'proof' that this is definitely going to happen?

cheers,

Paul W (would be cheapskate)

Glad I could help.
For all of those using the Subaru dealer network for servicing I can really recomend Roger at Wilsons. Really good service.

I'm interested, can anybody confirm whether they're the UK wheels or STi wheel and what brand of tyres they'll be coming with ?, does anyone have a part number so I can order through my local dealer.

I have now managed to order 1 set via a cheshire dealer... I would be grateful if the folks that get their wheels first post the actual type , colour and make/type of tyres on this bbs - as there seems to be a lot of indecision surrounding what type of wheels/tyres these really are.

thanks,

paul

Question

Just spoke to Chaplegate, Bourneemouth. They told me £439 plus VAT and there is a waiting list of 27. So I'm now number 28 and waiting to see what happens. They also said that the wheels only become available as conversions are done.
How many P1s are there going to be?

DAVE

Subaru Inverness have just told me £995!!!

Sounds like criminal profiteering given the prices everyone else is quoting...
