WRX-RA STi insurance write off to.....
Kev,
glad to hear you made it there (and back). It would be unlike you to not have some dramas - but at least it looks like the trip was worthwhile, and you had some fun

Keep up the good work

was ok, new PB of 12.3 but could of been high 11s easily, couldn't get off the line, i was quicker to 60ft in the wet the other week, part was down to my DCCD playing up (got a flashing light on the dash, faulty wiring i think) so had to do all my starts with the diff open and all the power to the rears so couldn't stop the wheel spin off the line, plus the track badly needed prepping but didn't happen the time i was there, too many stoppages too, only got 4 runs in i think

Well done on the new PB
You still have something to look forward to and aim for re times which is a good thing.
What were your terminals?
Some good heads-up racing too.
I must be getting out of practice as I cut a couple of red lights - which I had only ever done previously once when I couldnt see them due to sun glare.
My excuse is that I was feeling under the weather with a cold

112 i think, need to find out whats up with the diff, hoping its just an electrical fault on my wiring when i extended the switch, but we had a very worrying very loud bang from under the car when accelerating out of a roundabout on the way back, that bad we had to stop to make sure a driveshaft hadden't broken or something, still don't know what it was
need to jack the car up and have a look sometime this week

yes, i love it to bits, the smallest movement can change how the car handles, you can feel the change in grip level at the front as you progressively lock it
Not sure ig i wanted to read that Kev.
Missed a fab Type R with dccd trans on ebay last week, went for £500 full working.
Was it hard to fit, that is the dccd ecu and all that?
More $$$ this winter.

Phew, just got all the way through your post F4, must take my hat off m8. Absolutely brilliant job. Very good eye for detail, and some very interesting innovation that even the Sub Rally team would be envious of. Well done!
**** me, it's taken me 5 days to read this only top find out you're thinking of selling it..!
