Just had the day off work.

Lucky I did as I found out my footpump had been lent out and I had to go retrieve it (so much for when you've finished with it please return it!!).

Cars loaded up, Wheels, jerry cans * 2 (full), trolley jack, foot pump, helmet. Oh and a DIY job of taping the bullet cam to the dashboard lol!

See you tommorrow at 7:00am at the Brickworks.

Damian.

Lads

I won't be meeting up with you over Leeds or J30 for the simple reason that the car will be on a trailer so I can only do 60MPH all the way there.

Planning to hitch up in Leeds around 7am so I will get there ASAP

Cheers

Idle bugger. I was up bright eyed and bushy tailed (actually hungover and bleary eyed) at 5:30. Was out washing it at 6:00. Just as well I did, cos the new muck would have had on clean bodywork to stick to otherwise.

Washed it again when I got home. Inspected what's left of the tyres , and it started pi$$ing down as I was about to leather it. Sod it, where's me beer.

Summary of today's findings...

Washing your car before travelling 50 miles to a track in the rain is a complete waste of time

Dazza is f'kinmad...
...and short.

Evo's love to oversteer in the wet, unless you put the ACD in snow mode.

Evo's love to oversteer in the dry. Snow mode makes bugger all difference.

Dazza is still f'kinmad

Stevechaps car looks fantastic even when plastered with mucky muck ( )

I wanna buy a trackday Scoob import

Fenay Bridge people are a great bunch

Dazza's f'kinmad

I don't miss the burble as much as I thought, 'cos it's been replaced by a banshee type howl on full chatttttt

I don't want an aftermarket exhaust

I do want some 19's for everyday use, then I can use what's left on the 17's for the track

Oh, and Dazza, guess what...

If anyone who took a DV camera could lend me their tape of the day's proceedings I'm planning on sticking it all on the PC and editing it into a DVD to be handed out at a future Bridge meeting. I'm not gonna be able to make the one later this month, but I'll try and arrange something with Dazza for him to collect them from you and pass 'em on to me, if that's okay. If you stick your name on them I guarantee their safe return at the following meet, together with said DVD. Please DO NOT delete any 'home movie' material that may be on there

Slippy (unless it's dry) Sticky

Great day , and no major bumps. Thx Dave for organising , and Sticky.. leave the Evo as it is, even though theres no burble it sounded awesome on WOT.

Oh, did anyone mention..............

Dazza is f'kinmad... great pics though

glad it weren't my car

I found out what my problem was aswell when I got home, a split in one of the hoses (I thought I'd be ok running 17-19 psi of boost )
