the non DCCD cars always had the R160 diff also (hence sliding rear calipers on all variants) - think of it as a 4door STi in a 2door shell running gear wise...........
My Type R shell has sliding rear calipers and R160 hubs on it. Which was a massive disappointment when I found out Sure it has a DCCD wheel in the centre console though. Feel like I need to go look now!
