Default Can someone help me?

I have a mate with is what supposed to be a 1998 V4 Type R V Ltd Scoobie.
The only thing that is slightly worrying is that it does not have a variable control centre diff.
Does anybody know whether they were available without this or does it sound a bit iffy? Also it has ABS fitted which I think it should not possibly have.

Two of my Mates have that model and I have the STi Type-R.
V-Limiteds do not have the DCCD. Only the STi models have that.

The STi models don't have ABS because it is not compatible with the DCCD.

Sounds like you have the WRX type R, which doesnt come with the DCCD but has ABS instead, the STi versions as said above have the DCCD and no ABS.
