Dave R, Do you mean "earthing" kit? Still though, what does it do?

it provides a much better earth for better sensor signals for better running. I've earthed the block, both turrets, slam panel and the ecu back the the battery. Seems to run much smoother.

These cars are certainly holding their value.
3 years ago I sold my Sti4 Type R to a dealer for approx £11500. Now I've got to pay £15000 for a STi6! Seems like classic prices have become very solid. Good thing I suppose( for those of you who have one,LOL)

R25,car looks really cool.

I agree with Deep Singh. I don;t know if it's the time of year but there are very few type 5 or 6's on for sale at the moment which is helping keep prices up. I'm in the market for one preferably in sonic blue. Very nice Scoobidude BTW. You won't consider selling would you? TB they are nearly feathing the same as the UK P1 with is what it looks like i'm going to opt for if a cheaper STI Ver 5 or 6 doesn't turn up soon.

Scoobiedude and Powercrazed,luverly cars.
The thing is this(imho) nobody wants the STi7/STi8( I've had one!). The modern Scoob worth having is 04/05 with Dccd and twin scroll(or SpecC)If you d'ont have £25+k to spend on these then you may aswell get the best of the classics. To me that means STi5/6 maybe Vlimited.
I've found a similar situation with Evos(this is also potentially on the shopping list),nobody wants the Evo7 as its so fugly. I've seen clean examples going for£13k. A pukker Evo 6 Tom MAk will cost over £16k up to £18 for low mileage one owner jobbies..
So in summary, late classic Scoobs and Evos of the special variants ie Ver5/6 Vlimited or Evo 6Tom Mak will do very well for residuals

None of the above is good for me as I'm trying to buy one(as a second car)

Deep

Have you had this done or was it already like that? Any idea on cost/where I could get something similar done?

Does it also cut down on little rattles etc?? I hate rattles... make me
