Talking

Bought a type ra 99 and have noticed a few things that puzzle me.

1: The mph dial seems to be 10mph out @ 30 and 15mph out at 80 when compared to my GPS.Can it be changed over from kmph electronically or mechanically only ?

2: Intercooler spray light always lit up on dash ?

3: Reverse lights not working ?

4: Fitted a new ITG Panel Filter and found that there is only two clips that secure the top of the air box . How do I make sure that its a tight fit at the bottom of the box ? (I know i'm doing it wrong )

5: Want to swap side lights to crystal but can only find one screw on the top of light . Unscrewed but still could'nt remove ?

Thanx in advance for your time

Andy.

bottle is always empty, mine seems to get used up in about a couple of hours of driving, specially on a hot summers day.

turn of the automatic pump or swap the pipes from your windscreen bottle to the intercooler spray !!

I will have to get another remap before I notice much improvement. The HKS Dumpvalve makes the car pop bang and flame much more now.

Great improvement on oil temps. Motorway at constant 4/5000rpm usually gave about 100-110 deg's Now I am getting 85deg's.

So who sells that particular Mocal piece of kit then Bud. I will probs def need it when i get the New Hybrid Turbo back and turn the boost up on mine. Have you noticed an increase in Water Temperature. Was it fairly easy to fit.

My Local Subaru dealer got this one and fitted it. Grayham Goode Racing also supply the same kit. Watched them fit it and it was straight forward could have done it myself but I'm a lazy bugger.
I have kept my eye on water temp and notce no differance my dealer says he has fitted loads of oil coolers and FMIC and have not had any water temp problems.

You must have a great Subaru Dealer as When i ask mine for a Tyre Valve they need to know my chassis number. Which is a bit akward when you own a Jap Import

About 5 years ago Imports were done on weekends. But nowadays they will service, mod or do anything for import owners. They would even give me part X on my import.
