yep same old, same old story, ref gives pen at Old Toilet. But seems like Rude Boy lost his nerve or felt guilty for kicking at best midfielder on the pitch. What you need is your cert ref Riley not to ref 1st division games, he's good for 6 or 7 pens for you. Unlucky.

 

I must admit, from someone who has no interest in football this debate is quite funny.
(I watched some of the match yesterday, and to me it seemed the Van Nistleroy jumped over Viera's tackle, landed, got up and was moving to play on. I didn't see him claim a foul, which hardly makes it a dive? Viera then took a blatant swing which will get you a red card whoever you play for )

At the end of the day, it has no bearing on your lives. It is only a game. Just cos one team beats (or doesn't beat) another team kicking a ball round for half an hour on Sunday afternoon doesn't mean that your sad little lives will be any better or worse on Monday morning

Sorry m8 don't believe that for a minute, Giggs out cold ?? no way, was an amblance called to take him to hospital to check him out...that incident if it happened would have been all over every English speaking newspaper and some foreign one's, plus Sky sports would be in on it aswell

Despite the antics, any game that could have been played without goalkeepers and still end 0-0 is not much fun.
As for playacting, in every match that I've seen him play, Ashley Cole will suffer several career-ending, crippling injuries, yet somehow make a full recovery within 30 seconds. The replay always shows there not to have been any contact in the tackle. He is the finest exponent of this scam I have ever seen.

 

Yep gotta agree with the comment about 'pool supporters and those large chips they carry. Makes it hard to have an objective discussion when people are so hell bent on just bad mouthing utd. The Arsenal fans at work have admitted Viera let him and his team down along with Keown. I also agree that RVN dives way too much for a player of his talent.

Everyone seems to forget that Jeffers and Cole no saints when it comes to diving. And after Pires's antics against Pompeii they dont have a leg to stand on when complaining about Ruud as he never did anything like that. He didnt do a Simone vs Beckham and fall on the floor in pain. He jumped back and pointed towards Viera saying "wtf is this **** doing". Still amazes me how in all the replays that nothing is shown of when Viera got up off the floor and piled into the back of a bunch of utd players.

The scene that I remember most is when it all kicked off afer the whistle, Silvestre and Wiljtord walked off chatting and laughing.
