Isle of White trip 2003, anyone?

hi fellow scooby nuts,
I am new to scooby net and just reading about your trip to I.o.W.
we have just been over there and stayed at the Albert Cottage hotel in east cowes ( phone no: 01983-299309 )and can recommend it for B+B , rooms are large and comfortable and good value at £75 per d/room per night.
hope this helps somebody out on a last minute booking.
looking forward to meeting up with some of you at the next get together.

a certain Subraman wagon - it has special powers and can regulally be seen doing 40mph hitting the rev limiter on 4th !

nice to hear Mili is open DNB - have not been that way for a couple of weeks - have you recce'd?
i may have to make a mission over to view! i think an early morning one though, to get the full flavour with out a) traffic and B) filth

Don't blame you for not reading it all...
I think most people are getting here on Friday (26th) evening and going to the hotel for a frew drinks.
There should be a navigation excercise / treasure hunt on Saturday (27th) morning if sufficient people are interested - the Hants one was great fun - this will be a similar sort of thing.
After that, we'll probably go and see some of the attractions on the island - can be fun being a tourist in your own back yard... Nothing's really decided yet, apart from the hotel. I'll have to email that to you (security again) You'll need to email me your email address!
Needless to say there will be something going on on Sunday too...
