Is this a good price for F1's ?

Well it looks as though what David said about the refunds is true, and I have no reason to believe the rest isn't.
I think it would have been better to post a message on here explaining what he was going to do, rather than cause even more confusion and upset by refunding without prior notice.
Roll on the 6th June.

Hi, my 1st post. after being refunded by David Hunt for my GDS3215/45 17,s(I also think he's overstretched his self, nothing underhand)I came across Toyo 215/45 ZR17'S @ £53.40 each @ mtyres,
1-2 weeks delivery. I hope this deal doesn't fall thru as I am close to being illegal on the fronts. I have read the comparisons between Toyos & GD's and the main difference seems to be the wear factor, but at £53.40 each there can't be much in it, can there?

Well I don't have a problem with David or his company... :
I ordered 4 tyres and paid on my credit card, waited for them to turn up. When things started to get delayed I recieved a refund on my card plus a return of the creditcard slip in the post with my details.
I can't see a problem, he was honest and proactive to sort out my issue. In fact I feel a bit sorry for him recieving quite a bit of stick. If he rings me when the tyres are in I'll gladly buy some.

Just to let you all know I have too received a refund today. Will still wait and see how it pans out though as I want to try F1's over Toyos which I already have (as they are about £50 a corner at mytyres.net at the mo).

Yeah last time I looked for tyres I got Toyos and Scoobyworld were the cheapest at £78 a corner. However I did seem them at £62 a corner on mytyres a couple of months later.
Likewise Im wanting to try the F1's as most people rate them as the top tyre. Not passing a chance like this to get them for under £60 a corner thats for sure.

Hi - I ordered a set of 215/40/17's, i was supposed to get them end of May. Then Dave rang me to say wont be getting them til 6/6/03, and asked if i wanted to wait til then.
I said yes no prob coz i'm not in a rush. Next thing i get a refund in saturdays post !!!
Does anyone know if he's getting them ?
Is there a waiting list?
Are people who wanted tyres, but have recieved a refund on it if there is one ?
Just wanna know if they are still available coz like you say I cant give up an opportunity like this.
Cheers
Dave

i'm hanging on but not holding my breath. Puncture in rear tyre now means pumping up to 50psi every other day and driving in the wet is interesting. I i get no joy by the 13th i'll be splashing out else where!
