Liverpool in the Champions League?
And the year after, and after.
Postives for season : First 12 games, maybe best Premiership start ever? Won a trophy (there's only 1 team above us that has won a trophy this year and possibly Arsenal next weekend)
Negatives for season : Next 12 games and home form (very poor!)
Next season : Think the spine of the team is fine, but creativity and strategy needs to improve. Creativity by 1/2 players and strategy from the manager. And of course, try and buy some home grown players as the French contingent are clearly not 'up for it'

Turkish - problem before has been overspend on purchase of too many bad players. Maybe not having so much money is a good thing, that way it means say 2 players (poss 3) of good quality, rather than 5 or 6 of inferior std ?
Having an open cheque book is always a problem. Sometimes I see money as a get out clause for managers, when they should be working with the resources that they have and then supplement with 1 or 2 key purchases.
Lets trim the squad, get the wage bill down thereby demonstrating financial payback and get 1 quality playmaker, 1 winger and 1 proven striker. No more players of potential please (we have enough of those), proven experience in Europe or EPL is the criteria.
I see we are 3rd favourites for the title next year.
