Bellamy is no better than Heskey, thats the best compliment I can pay him. And they both share the same kind of record 7 and 6 in the PL and similar tally in all competitions.
My reference to goals was 'away' goals, I'd like to think we can score than 30 in a season (home and away) !! And yes it is joint with other teams (including Leeds! who also have 30 away from home)
Bad season for us, we started good, fell away in the middle, but have shown strength towards the end, but still have a trophy to show for it and possible CL place.

I do!!
But i am seriously hoping that newcastle slip up before then, we really could do with being in the position that a draw would do us against Chelsea, i dont fancy having to go and win there

We're gonna do it (true reds), don't care that we have not won at the bridge since 1989, our specialism is the big games and we'll beat the Blues and take the fourth place. There is still time for Geordies to screw up in their last two matches too.
We'll regroup in the summer and take the title next year - you heard it hear first.....

No of course you're not....
Anyway, back to the thread. 3 into 2 doesn't go. Someone's gonna blow it and it ain't gonna be the Reds. I can see possible problem for Chelsea with West Ham in full survival mode.
Also would say that Birmingham with 4 wins on the bounce and no 'player of the decade' may be a nervous game.
We have what 7 wins out of 8 ? And come off a 6-0 win....

"No of course you're not..."
Bit like you then.
As for Birmingham; shouldn't be a problem really - beat them 2-0 at St Andrew's. No Al, but then we have played without him before (and won). Funny how so many said he was finished/useless/slow/knackered etc etc. If he's so bad, how come our Season's over now he's injured? Come on folks; make your minds up!
Going now. May get the chance to post quickly before I head to work in the morning, but then contrary to belief in W Yorks, I won't get to post for the whole day. Always the same in Term time - so many PCs, so little time...
Cheers

Nice gift from Elleray b4 he retires. That Bellamy is sh1te.
Down to the wire for the Reds, confident though. Best away record in the PL with 9 wins and 2nd top Scorers (30 goals), behind Gooners (34).

Craigy's soooooooo much better than Hesky (and has scored 8 EPL goals this Season, not 7 - very poor by his high standards).
Sorry, but I was referring to Dharbige's comment - read yours, but it didn't go in (Doh!).
Well, at least there are two decent teams fighting for 4th place - both of which should do a decent job if they get there. Which would be the best representative, I've no idea, but from a personal point of view, I'd hope Liverpool.
What is becoming increasingly obvious, is the gap is increasing between the top 5 clubs in the EPL, and the rest. Everton had a brave run, but they're not even close.
