Do the same again this Sunday but this time book Monday off work......
.... I love Sunday drinking without the pain of work the next day.
PS I think bra's must be rationed in Headingly! I swear I only saw one lass with one on......
Seriously though I think we all go through those fed up stages. I find it always helps to have something to look forward to. Have you booked a holiday to anywhere? I've just booked to go to Ibiza with a few mates, avoid the idiots and the place has a really chilled atmosphere.

David....
Sorry to hear you are feeling down......it'll pass
Personally if I ever feel a bit down then I look back on the 10 years of clinical depression, anxiety disorder, agoraphobia and panic attacks that I suffered and that soon cheers me up and I then kick myself firmly up the **** and tell myself to stop being such a self-pitying prat
It also helps when I think I could have been born in Baghdad.......

David,
E-mail me if you want to feel much better as I guarantee after listening to my story you'll be happier in your own situation, and that's not an idle promise!
Best advise, there is always someone worse off and in some cases far worse.

I usually store all the bad feeling and lock it away deep down.
Then I look forward to the day when I get an AK47 and release all the bad feeling I've stored back into this crazy old world.

Go down the gym, 30 mins on the cross trainer (aka Rotex) absolutely flat out on the hardest setting the machine has.
Then finish off with a dip in the spa pool and lie down in the sauna.
I do warm up first.

Yup... those who exercise / those who get pissed / those who go and drive/ride to make themselves feel better
Personally I think a combination of all three is the perfect balance

I go raving, Or if its during the week, I plan my next months raving strategy. Never fails to cheer me up. It even helps me work harder I.E. I've earned the right to go raving as I've worked hard during the week.

I agree with TonyG. Get yourself a guitar and amp and thrash away. It don't matter how good you are, making the noise is stress relief and far safer than blasting down some A roads.
CAUTION: Stress levels may rise if you break a string after the shops are shut!

I've just finished panelling my car up from last time I was really pissed off
I tend to just go out for a wander now, it's quite handy out here in the sticks for wandering

I dont get pissed off that much ... when I do, I chuck on my earmuffs and play some really loud happy music. Or go for a drive and play some really loud happy music. Or, start cracking jokes etc.
Then, I drink lots of wine, smoke lots of cigarettes and start dancing round my room in only the way Northern Soul dancers can Thats a stress buster if ever there was one!

David,
Nice bottle of red wine (expensive one of course) choose any of your fav music, blast it out loud, or as my councilor said some soft classical music take the phone off the hook turn of the mobile and just chill, it might take 1 bottle it might take 3, but I find it helps, I was nearly killed by a drunk driver and he walked away unhurt and didn't give a toss whether I lived or not, So my answer to life is now F**k the world this is my time.
Cheers
Colin

Tell me, did you love your mother when you were a child?
