who knows about Golf TDIs

IIRC the Revo map is £499 + VAT. I paid £449 when it was officially APR and then got a free upgrade to Revo after the ex-APR guys set up on their own. The only difference is that Revo code can be switched back to stock with a little box you can buy to plug into the OBDII port.
The 150 has titanium blades on the turbo, FMIC and stronger internals IIRC. Revo say that the Ibiza gives more torque than the Golf because of the different gearing - I've never understood that, personally.
There's a guy on SEATCupra.net who is waiting for his Revo'd ECU to be delivered back to him (he's in Portugal) for a 150 SEAT Toledo and maybe he'll RR it when he gets it back.
I thought that they said about 190+bhp for the 150, but they only say 180 for mine and it's making a bit more than that. I'd hope that with the exhaust and filter I'd be getting on for 200, but I'd expect a 150 to do that with chip alone. I forget the torque figure but 290 sounds about right, although they quote 300 for the Ibiza (130 Golf quotes at high 270's I believe). Incidentally a car identical to mine with 6,500 miles on it made 179.9 and 299.4 the RR run before mine, so they're pretty accurate of a tight engine. Mine had 19,500 miles when it was RR'd and 22,000 now.
I think it's fair to say that there is little point in getting a 150 when the 130 is nearly (within single figures) as good once they're chipped. I'd also say that the Ibiza is the car to get it in; lighter than the Golf but nearly as roomy, 4 airbags, digital climate, TCS, proper (perhaps too stiff for some) suspension, decent brakes and lists at £4k cheaper. If you fancy a used one, mine's for sale to fund the rebuild of my 944 Turbo as a trackday beast.

yeah thats the advantage with revo, its just a software upgrade via the OBDII port, kevin from revo told me figures of 190bhp/290ftlb.
wonder if the 130 bhp tdi engine would give the same power.
