I reckon both cars are great. I've always loved the way the gti6 looks and the interior is lush. Bad thing is that the later model one looks the same as the TD and XSi ones.
I run a joey standardo facelifted VTS as a company car and i love it.Just does what it says on the tin and is'nt trying to be something its not.I know they have a bad image but i'm sure the mk1 golf gti had its fair share of bell ends as owners. Ideally i would like to own a scooby or whatever and have a VTS as well.
Its had a new gearbox which was probably my fault and it has niggly stuff wrong but its reliable and i do drive it hard.
