Thumbs up

Went today to get my MAF sorted, well impressed with Mervyn's knowledge and advice The roads they have are also pretty impressive (large fans etc)

Made 270 BHP and Torque and rising after the ECU reset.

MY99
Dawes to 1.2 bar
ITG (now K&N panel)
Full Magnex decat
Tek2.5

Wink

Spoke to Merv today and this is the outcome.

Price will be £35 inc of vat.

There will not be time to do any tuning work just a power run for each car.

The Clio v6 will be welcome but they dont want too many different types of cars.

Sausage and Bacon sarnies will be provided along with tea and coffee.

When we arrive I will have a sheet for running order.Just add your name to the list when you arrive. If you are not fussed with an early run let those who want one put there name down before you.

Those travelling from Soton,Pompey and Winchester we will be meeting at the Winchester services (northbound M3) at about 7:30,hoping to leave by 7:45.
I think that covers everything.

Paul.

PS. What's with all the dog cr*p? If you pardon the pun!

Paul,
is it necessary for us all to be there early, I've got relatives literally within shouting distance, and would like to aim at getting to PE at about 11ish, if thats too late I can make it earlier, but I'm not one for getting out of bed early!!!

Colin

To be honest I was gutted with the 389bhp, until Bob went on and only got 407bhp..

Most of the cars were slipping on the rollers on the day.... Andy F power cuve was weird to say the least!

BobR just had a run at PE today and got lets just say significantly more than the run at Well Lane. It'll be interesting to see what I get, although the Turbo is fairly restrictive... over 400bhp would be nice this time!

If only I had the water injection, headers and bigger turbo that need to go on... I have not finised yet with this little project... and I told the girly that I'd keep the car totally standard this time, well its still a 2 litre!... (my Cossie has a 2.2 stroker kit... well not mine any more but a mates...)

Will probably get there pretty early...

Cripes didnt realise the start time was 8.30 am!!

In that case perhaps I wont be there early. I'll be dropping the wife off in Twickenham.. at the inlaws, dont know how far this is from PE.. will look at the map.. but its pretty close!!

I'll probably be there around 10am.. so Ron you can have a bit more of a lie in!!

Apparently Bob has told Merv and Dave of my attendance so I cant go on the rollers in stealth mode

This run will be interesting... will see how far off Bob I am.. Turbo and Headers will be decided upon and on the car within the next month hopefully... afterall the VF22MD195 turbo is only specced to 420bhp ish.........

and for the first time in months I've had a good day.. I've finally sorted out the stereo system after junking Focal speakers and going for proper class....... I spend more time with the Stereo than with the engine!!... sorry I'm starting to bore people

Colin

The clutch isnt slipping yet... I'm holding my breath..

The rear wheels were slipping for most people on the rollers at Well Lane

I remember an AP clutch lasting 200 miles once on my Escort Cossie!... and they said I'd abused it.....

Steve I saw Bobs BHP it' a shame he can't make it on Saturday, 465 BHP actualy I'm glad he can't make it as I reckon I would have end up bankrupt after seeing his Scooby.

I was planning a lie in but it looks like it's going to be an early start again, see you at 7.30 ish. Just to worn you a TO55ER I work with has volunteerd himself to come along with me, you will all be able to hear about his Peugeot 106 Quicksilver that is soon going to have a V6 engine, a supercharger and NOS, the company fitting it has said he will have a minimum 465 BHP when its finished and a sub 11sec quarter mile time , BO11OCKS ( sorry I couldn't find a W4NKER smilie )

Colin.

Colin - feel free to use any of these Don't worry, we all have people like that we know...I think I'm that to a few people!

...of course you could always sit him down and explain it all

Still, I'm looking forward to it - and that gives me my excuse to use my favourite smilie!

i would come but if Money or Krade are coming, there's no point for me bringing the 2.2 5 cylinder heap, i'll get about 80bhp at wheels in this condition. All in good time.....

Andy - we were planning on getting there early to watch a few of the runs (seein' as I've never been to a RR before )...so the 7.30 meet for the 7.45 leaving was our aim ( gotta get out of bed ) if you still fancied coming along?

Steve - //www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/ just copy and paste the code it gives you into the message
