PS2 DVD
David,
In order to store enough data DVD,s can have two layers of information on one side.
I think I am right in saying that a dual layer double sided DVD can store 17.2 gigabytes of information.
My post from before relates to the PS2 lipsync problem sorting itself after it changes to the second layer of data on the DVD.
This is only my idea I may be talking b****x

<B>bought 'HEAT' with my PS2, watched it last night.
The longer the DVD played, the more the audio lost sink with the picture. Stopped the DVD and started it again back at the relevant place and the audio was back in sink.
What the Fu&# !!!!!
Anyone know why this happens? or is the PS2 DVD player ****e????
One more question, I linked up the optical out and left and right speaker feeds to my AMP, my amp does not support Dolby Digital 5.1, is this therefore a waste of time until I get a dolby digital AMP and speakers? My TV is Dolby Pro Logic (left and right speakers through my stereo), I get better sound with this than with the optical out.
Spent all weekend looking for an S-Video cable, WHERE HAVE THEY ALL GONE !!!!
Thanks for any help.

Yes i too have had problems with lip sync on my ps2. But also jumping after about 40 mins of playing. From what i have found out it seems to be a problem through the whole range...Wish i knew befor i bought it. I'm in touch with costomer care now to see what they are going to do.

I think all PS2's have the same problem.
