Not together of course...

I'd go for a log cabin somewhere up aviemore (or further north). Just imagine it.....freezing cold, the two of you huddled round a nice warm fire with the scooby and potentially snow outside waiting to be enjoyed

How about The Isles of Glencoe, in Glencoe: http://www.freedomglen.co.uk/ig/
Best roads in the UK and and the hotel is very nice with good food and a swimming pool. If you get fed up of eating, ******** and driving you could always go skiing.
Cheers

Subevo.. thats a top idea since I'm also a kayaker ... although I'm not sure being that close to such a famous kayaking spot without my boat is a good idea - and I'd best not take it with me... she'll kill me ...

You could try the Kingswood Hotel in Burntisland just outside Edinburgh (FIFE). Lovely countryside location but near edinburgh and motorway links. Web address is www.kingswoodhotel.co.uk
My flatmate is the hotels marketing guy and he's been sympathetic of my scoobynet use, hence the plug
