To have vastly superior build quality something has to give.

Audi sometimes give weights will exras and driver hence the difference in weight, just try opening a scob door after an S3's and you will feel where the weight is

MY01 weight = 1385kg (215bhp)
S3 weght = 1375kg (225bhp)

Thats makes it a nice little competitor to the Impreza. If you want to put it into STi teritory, you could chip it up to 270bhp for £850.

Whack on an enhanced intake and de-cat zorst and you've got yourself a nice 285-290bhp car.

Not quite so easy as that, 270 bhp on the std turbo is about as far as can take it, aim for that and you will be chuffed much more and youre looking at big turbo and lots of £££'s.

Look good though and the interior is years away from the scoob
