- Tangerine Dream (crap now but ran the show in the 70s/80s)
- Ozric Tentacles (oh yeahh !!)
- Node (not sure where they are now but these guys were ace !!)
- The Orb (mostly sample-based but some synth stuff in there)

Then there's the solo stuff...

- Jean Michel Jarre (the early stuff, not his latest cheese)
- Vangelis (the god !!)
- Andy Pickford
- Mark Shreeve (ace 80s stuff !)
- Klaus Schulze
- Chris Franke (Babylon 5 soundtrack, ex-TD etc..)

This is the real synth stuff... mind you...Human League were ace !!

 

Yes sad news about Frank Tovey.

Deutsche Amerikan Freundschaft were one of my favourites. "Absolute Body Control" was an ace track.

 

What about recoil? anyone like them?
