Strengthened Gearsets:
Any idea how long this timeframe is before we get details as I am looking at other options and only just heard about this one, but would be very interested if cars in the 11 second bracket are running the gears with no problems.
Bruiser,
the main issue that Mark wants to make sure he can get them built properly in the UK. Otherwise there are no issues known of to date.
Email him at m@rk-a.com and he will let you know about possibly sourcing one locally.

christian,
didnt you want rid of yours cos your fiancee couldnt drive it?
straight cut dog box which whines and gets irritating especially on cruise or a helical cut sychro which works like an normal box but can handle the stick I intyend to throw at it, oh and for much less money?
I know what I'd choose!

Guys,
I will be posting about the gear kit on 22b.com. I would put a report on here, but I will be chastised for not having a "banner".
I will do this later today/tomorrow.
Mark.

Bruiser.STi = drop me an email, i had a system crash and lost a lot of my emails that I was going to reply too.
I find it fine for everyday use, but then I am young, only 22 (JUST!) so I probably find it more fun then an older person
Adam M = I decided to keep it on for the time being, even though the other gearset is only around 1300 or so, the cost of removing my exisitng dogbox then selling it on, then getting this kit fitted - i just dont see the point - and on another note, i know the gearbox will survive if i decide to do lots of hard launches!

Just my 2c but a dog box will lose less time during a shift than a syncro box. I know we are only talking the difference between 0.2 and 0.5 seconds but when you shift 4 times during an 11 second 1/4 mile run 2 seconds is a long time to be off the throttle
