I hate shaving with a passion and if I'm not really carefull I get those 'ingrown hairs' on my neck, but this can be avoided by following the Mac IV technique below ...
My current routine is:
1) Soak face in bath for at least 10 minutes and use Nivea exfoliating face wash.
2) While this is going on Soak the razor in cold water (helps keep the razor blade sharper as heat will expand the metal.
3) Apply shaving oil to (wet) face and leave a couple of mins.
4) Apply small amount king of shaves gel
5) Begin shaving WITH THE GRAIN in small strokes washing razor regularly in COLD WATER being particularly careful around my sensitive neck area
6) Get back in the bath to soak face again (can u believe this ****!).
7) rinse face in soothing cold water
8) Apply Gillete after shave balm
9) Dispose razor if used more than twice!
I use those bic disposable razors as they are dirt cheap and I was blunting the Mach III's like crazy and it was costing me a fortune! At least this way I am always using a sharp razor. I never try to shave more than once every 2 days but if I leave it more than 3 it gets well uncomfortable.
J
PS there's no way I could shave without a mirror - I'd end up looking like Freddie Kreuger!

Anyone shave their pubes?
It is getting to the point where it is almost expected of women now, like under-arm shaving.
But blokes?
A bloke friend of mine shaves his and his gf told me it improves her experience, as well as making his **** appear even bigger. I reckon they've been watching too much **** myself.

"Here we go"...... Forget Gold wheels...........you girls!!
John Banks has a new "Tecnosharp 7" . Ive tried it attached to my regular Gillete Razor. The difference is amazing. I get full boost shave almost straight away.

I hate shaving too, but if anyone here has served in the forces you'll know that shaving when your out in the field is sheer hell.
Try freezing cold water to wash off all your camo cream (about as useful as scrubbing a greasy frying pan with cold water ), a tiny lump of shaving soap (ha, "shaving" soap; seen more lather in a pile of spit) and an old-fashioned disposable razor They also give you a tiny signal mirror (with a hole in the middle) just so you can see about 1" square of your whole face.
Then, when your face is nice and red with shavers rash, you've got to cover it with cammo cream again; no nice moisturiser this time
Shaving after a nice hot shower is bliss compared to that. Guess that's why I used to smuggle a Mach 3 razor and some proper shaving gel in my Bergen
