Compaq Racks Cable management (or lack off.)

Fibre patch leads that are far too long and with no cable management...

People that make you laugh whilst trying to lift an RA4100 Disk array into the rack...

My best moment are :

A user called to say that one of their monitors had died...............I had to explain what the on/off button was for.

Users that go on IT releated training courses and end up asking for help anyway.

Radware

A user pulling out the classic "whilst your here" line.

Or a user logging a fault: "unable to access email", when you get down there the computer's still in it's box!

Installers that require the original disks to remove components.

I've just spent 15 minutes running the Visual Studio .Net installer to remove some components I don't need, in order to free up some disk space on my laptop's HDD. Halfway through it tells me it needs the install CDs which are - of course - sitting at home.

So I hit cancel, and it rolls back the uninstall, putting everything back where it was.

Grrrrrr!!!
