Agree with Chiark re winkle.
Sorry scott, but just cos it is a real part, doesnt stop it from being a copy of the wrc part, which mine isnt.
It is actually the same panel as used on the wrc so
you wally.
PS. I would say that my closed deck 2.2 is far more performance orientated than your wanna be homologation pants rubbish 2.0 open deck, with its roof vent, and stripped out body.
Except that it isnt really stripped out, as they put air con and electric windows back in for you, cos you cant hack the purity.
Nice people!

Adam,
Are you sure that it's the same panel used in the WRC car? I suspect the wrc car one is made from a lightweight material to save weight for more important stuff, like rollcage and transmission operation equipment... I bet your bumper is an abs/plastic replica of the genuine wrc part.

Well you see craig, we thought ras, had closed deck blocks, and that all sti 3s did too.
Well it would appear that morays car was an sti 3, and a type ra, and also a v limited (scotts is v limited), but morays car infact had an open (or was it semi open?) deck block.
Funnily enough, there is only one incarnation of impreza that we know for sure to have a closed deck block.
Can you guess what it is?
perhaps scott would like a go?

I know mine has as I have the original Jap receipt with it on the spec sheet (please don't make me scan and post it) I believe it is an option on all V5's and V6's at time of purchase.
Anyway other than actually checking you will never know. Oh and in fact I know of a 22b that hasn't got a closed beck block as I actually was in a tuner when the engine was out, can't say who's but it wouldn't take you long to guess
Ads your still a bird and your car is still slower than mine, and not as
