How did you first find out about the bbs?

Been a member of a Rover mailing list for a couple of years, found it extremely useful and the meet-ups were fun too.
Looking to get a Scoob at some point and a converted chum, KevinWRX, pointed me this way. If it's anything like my other mailing list experience I'll be well armed when I come to purchase my beast. Nice one

Bought my scoob after giving up on the chance of finding one in my CC Budget after wandering through a car sales plot of 1500 cars, it was the only one there, just £1 under my budget. It was meant to be.
The same day i jumped on the net and did a search for Subaru and the SIDC web site popped up.
I read the FAQ and found the little link to BBS, didnt have a clue what a BBS was so i clicked on it.
That little bit of curiousity changed my life considerably. Amazing.

I found out from a fellow scooby owner, it seems now wherever you go and start talking scooby the bbs will come up in some form.
Top site, it has helped me in my search for a perfect motor and stopped me falling into a few traps....there really are some dodgy second hand imprezas around!!!

I did the 'GOOGLE' on which I ended up at the 'SIDC' (great site). The impreza faq was very helpful!!! After some browsing I found my new daily bible (scoobynet). If I only had heard earlier of this site, that could have saved me a LOT of money!!! I still go through a lot of struggle by typing in all the letters with my Dreamcast Joypad (ouch, some more blisters!!!)
Thanks again for this great site!!!!!!
swiss scooby
PS: I showed this site (and SIDC) to my local dealer and he was so impressed that he didn't charge me for the 12'500 km service!!!!
