an older thread ,im not getting any thing free or getting paid for this , but i put a set of yellowstuff on my gtr , i don’t track it but it’s quite a heavy powerful car , from the pads on it from before , the yellowstuff ebc are a massive improvement to the point it felt like new brakes , bedding in time takes a while , been on the car for 4 months , well worth doing 👍😁

Not fitted my green stuff ones yet, as in middle of 2 pot conversion. But sounds positive.

for a scooby you should be thinking reds or yellow stuff , green is not a compound i would use on a more powerful car , pm the ebc chap see what he says 👍😁

@EBC Brakes UK send me a set of Blue stuff to try. I'm only using the front pads with OEM Brembo disks. Bedding in did take a while and I had to perform the bed in procedure 3 times before they where settled. They handled a track day at Snetterton without issues and have good road manners too, so strike a nice balance. For a track focused car they probably would not be my first choice. My one complaint is how dusty these are, it literally only take a quick tip to the supermarket and the wheels look black. The PFZ I run in my other one are much less dusty and perform equally well.

Thank you for the feedback, being a street/track hybrid it is good to hear you found a good balance for both

No problem. I will be able to provide some more feedback once I've used them a bit more. I also need to change the fluid before I can really judge them but first impressions are very positive, in fact, one of my friends just bought a set for his BMW as he was impressed with them. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to try them.

around 7 months ago i put Ebc RPX pads and new apracing discs to my apracing 6pots calipers ,incredbile bite from cold, similar to pagids rs29.Only issue i have is where dust bites in to an alloys killing lacquer on them. Same issue i had with rs29 pads with my previous set of alloys.

Can anyone recommend some pads for fast road use on a Forester XT? I've narrowed it down to EBC Redstuff , BREMBO HP2000 or some Black Diamonds.... currently have Endless pads that came with the car from Japan they are great and zero dust (not sure how that is even possible) but too expensive to get new ones again...

As a Fsti owner , yellow stuff work very well , reds would be ok but not ideal , the black diamond predator are good , they are cheaper but are not quite as good as the yellows , i have black diamond in one Fsti , and yellows in the other two and the difference is noticeable , and way better than standard , just bed them in gently 👍😁

Currently we only have BBK's / calipers for the Subaru BRZ found a this link, but I do know they are going to be expanding the range at some time for Subaru's, unfortunately I do not know an ETA on when they will be available.
