No worries, that'll be the product tester/writer in me coming out I guess (a different industry I hasten to add). There's certainly more information there on the sire than I remember seeing before. However, there are still not actually any comparable pad performance charts. You've got a lap trace on the Orangestuff page, nothing on Yellowstuff and then a bunch of bedding in charts on Bluestuff. This actually highlights my point really; most of what is on the site is subjective words rather than objective data that allows comparison across the range, and indeed other manufacturers. Something like the under noted Ferodo and CL charts, while probably not a perfect representation of the real world, would at least allow users to actually compare your pads reasonably objectively:
However, this goes back to my original point that the pads are not consistent. I've had at least half a dozen sets of DS2500 pads over 15 years and they have been consistent in characteristics on each and every occasion across numerous different cars. In contrast EBC seem very inconsistent. The Orangestuff's I have now are a complete disappointment compared to the first set I had, which is a bit galling when they were significantly more expensive than the previous set (better the devil I knew I thought, except it turns out it wasn't the same devil). The first set I had were a superb all rounder which worked well cold and very well hot, with good fade resistance. In comparison these have very little bite (admittedly as your chart shows) but then very little fade resistance too. I don't know whether this is intentional but with no confidence that what you get will be the same from one batch to the next I would really struggle to recommend EBC products at present. This clearly isn't someone jumping onto an EBC bashing wagon, but someone who's probably given EBC the benefit of the doubt on numerous occasions where they shouldn't. I think it would be great if EBC were considered one of the true top performance brake pad manufacturers but at the moment, the likes of CL, Pagid and Ferodo are some way ahead IMO.

I've had EBC blues in my Forester STi 6 years ago and I didn't like them. The felt wooden and needed a lot of pressure on the brake pedal to stop.
I fitted EBC yellows a year and a half ago to the Brembo 4-pots of my Abarth 500 (with a half heart I must say due to the previous experience with the blues) since they were recommended by the garage I used for servicing and they were fantastic!

Thanks for the reply. The YellowStuff may have been a better option for you on the Forester but I am pleased to hear that you are impressed with them on the Abarth 500.

I used to use EBC for years , in most of the cars , but on the Fsti the bite of the yellow stuff in normal road use , i was not that impressed with , the last time i used them was around 4 years ago , i spoke to a tuner he said Pagid from Eurocarparts , the bite was better than the ebc and they cost 40£ v the ebc which was around 100£ + , i would be happy to give them a go again as you say compounds have changed, but i’m put off by the price plus have they really improved , i did notice some improvement in the yellow stuff ebc pads so yes compounds were getting changed , as originally the pad needed warming up for road use not ideal , i just needed a fast road pad not a track pad , i used reds and yellows on track with a subaru and had no issues other than a bit of smoke 😂 i think slotted/grooved discs would be better on a track but overkill on a road , i suppose it comes down to how hard you push it , on the track i was hitting around 160 + mph on the main straight , the track was mainly long runs around 1.5 miles , then lots of braking then a long run again 😂😂

Hi
A Group of us do a lot of track days and we've used a few different compounds on different cars and honestly can't say a bad word about any of them.
We've used yellow stuff, orange and blue pads
Orange stuff in a Clio were fantastic and same for the blue in a focus ST
The yellows are a little tame for how we use them, definitely a fast road pad on heavier cars
very interested in trying the RP1/RPX pad, is the deal still on where you buy one and get the other as free replacement? How do these compare to say carbotec xp10 or RC6 pads
The XP10 have been my favourite pads for years

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. It is always nice to hear positive comments where the right pad has been used for the right application. Unfortunately, We no longer offer the deal mentioned but would point you towards ebc brakes direct dot com to find our best deals. Let us know how yon get on with any new purchases.

Can I get a replacement pad?
Struggled to get these to fit and ended up braking a pad.

I'm not saying its EBC's fault, Its mine as they wouldn't fit in so tried tapping them with a hammer hence why it broke.
I contacted who i though was EBC, but turned out to be one of your suppliers.
The fit was too tight, previous owner had painted the calipers, i was told that could be the problem, but even after rubbing them down, they still didn't fit.
I was just hoping to buy the single pad saving binning them all.
here the correct size for my calipers. I have

Feedback on the pads , car is a 340 bhp Fsti , it’s not tracked it is a daily drive and i tested yellow stuff pads done around 600 miles so far .....
Are they better yes , do they have a lot more bite yes , i was using pagid pads before , the ebc are a lot better , i have also ordered a second set for the other car , any issues , the running in period can take a little while , for a short time a bit of steering shake as they bedded in , is it worth it for the improved bite yes as car feels a lot better , have i had any fade no , fitting was straight forward , no more dust build up than before , would i buy them again yes , but the only negative i have is they are not cheap , if prices can be bought down more , more people would buy them , am i impressed with them overall yes 👍 in the past all i used was ebc normally yellowstuff but the bite was not that good , so i bought the pagid as a replacement due to the poor bite of the ebc pads , but in testing them now ebc has a lot more bite so things have improved , i have braided lines on one fsti , the car i tested the ebc on still has more bite and better brakes on the tested car v the braided lines on the other car, the braided brake lines car was the sharpest brakes of the two but is not any more

The more expensive version of pagid so mid ish range , not race pads , ebc bite is a lot better that what i had , one car has a japenese non ebc blue pads and it’s better than that

I'm still assessing the Bluestuff's I was sent for my WRX 4 pots but so far I'm finding them good. They needed bedded in before they had good cold bite but now they have it although they are still a little wooden when cold. They bite nicely after just a few stops to build up a little heat. Haven't had a chance to try out how they handle heat properly yet as the road I use that is torture for ordinary pads has been getting repairs done. It's easy to get normal pads to fail completely on this road so if I get to end of the road with good brakes still I consider it a good fast road going pad, at least where heat management is concerned.
I've got to be honest and say I still prefer the Ferodo DS Performace pads I had previously though. They felt nicer when cold and were similar in the other situations I've experienced so far. They do feel nicer than the Godspeed Kevlars I've been using for a few months after the Ferodo's but the Godspeed's are much much cheaper. I'm still undecided if I'll get more Ferodo's, Bluestuff's or Brembo HP2000's for my next set of pads but I'm not writing the Bluestuff's off until I've used them for a while longer to properly test them out.

10y ago or more i had blues on ksports kit found them very good from cold and hot equal to ds2500 but they wear off twice quicker, 115 vs 250 quid ,a lot of dust on both
best i used are rs29 pads, better then above ones when cold and hot with little dust

Have Yellow stuff pads on my scooby now, they really can't even begin to compare to the pfz pads I had on before, braking power just isn't the same standard imo, they aren't budget bad, but they aren't performance good either, I don't know if they do an equivalent to the pfz or at least I can't remember but based on my experience I wouldn't buy again unless I had no other choice. I'd like to be proved wrong but I couldn't justify paying to find out I still should of gone pfz

Things have moved on greatly with our pads over the past 10 years and I would be happy to send you a free set of our current pads to try and let us know your thoughts? PM your details if you want to accept. Thanks

Used Greenstuff in the past when I had Imprezas but I seem to remember they created massive amounts of dust.
Currently I have Yellowstuff front and rears on two of my Jaguars, 4.2 Supercharged S-TYPE R and 4.2 Supercharged XJR.
Only used on the road for some 'enthusiastic' driving and I am very pleased with the results on big, heavy cars.
Initial bite from cold is good, not noticed any hint of fade with my type of usage and seems like I have better pedal feel than the previous OEM pads.
My XE 3.0 Supercharged will probably need pads in the near future and I will certainly consider Yellowstuff as a replacement.
