Sounds just like what happened to mine! Yeah, they were very smooth and quiet, I'm thinking maybe the shape of the Impreza windscreen just doesn't work well with them as both sets streaked in the same area. Maybe the conventional style blades would work well. I'll keep the cheap ones as long as they're working tho, there's only so much I'm willing to spend on fancy wiper blades!
