oh sorry it's still the same.well not a misfire it's more of a 0.5 bar boost judder then it decides it's ok to go to 1bar.haha.but even everything back to standard how can it run to 1 bar without pill and overboost with the correct pill in also no boost cuts or anything.i thought the ecu would cut the boost st some point and that's with both ecus.im baffled

Actuator possibly adjusted to tight, possible it's had a remap at some point. Map sensor is the determining factor in over boost possibly faulty. Take the bottom pipe of the bcs and try again as an experiment.

u mean disconnect the bottom pipe and try get boost then.the bottom pipe was left off before and this was why I looked into it as had same problem and the turbo and actuator vacuum was just connected and not t piece off to the bus.

Understand that but its doing nothing just returning to the intake pipe. Remove it and see. The standard size pill in a P1 is 1.5mm iirc. The smaller the pill the more peak boost as such then settles down.

Ok I'll give it a go in the morning now.i got 1.2 pill when it's in it overboosts,do u reckon the 1.5 would bring the down as slightly bigger or would that small amount even make a difference, 0.3 difference.

As I said before if you connect the two black test connectors under the steering wheel and turn the ignition on you should hear/feel it clicking if not it's jammed or gummed up. Yes a dawes device would pull you out of a hole but not really the way to go. Did you try a bigger pill?
