cheers mate, really not sure but I have been in a few modern fast cars recently like golf r’s, Audi s3, focus rs and I much prefer the newer cars. All the things Subarus have for fast driving people is irrelevant to me as I don’t drive fast. I know people will say the ones I’m looking at are boring etc but I’m after comfort now with a bit of poke....be either golf r or s3 👍

For the money I personally don't think the s3 is worth it.

Have you looked at the BMW (insert number)40i. Depending on age you're also close to M5 money. Or get a more tame 3 series (in comparison to the 340i) thats years newer.

I will have a think mate but I won’t be buying anything soon, I forget to mention the m140 which is another option but the work van is all I need right now 👍

Hi all, replaced the rusty radiator brackets and some rusty bolts as pointed out (Thanks don for part numbers for bolts)

I will be generally cleaning the engine Bay Area after Xmas probably as there’s no rush at the moment and getting some power upgrades to. Cheers

So when it goes wrong or before who will you use.
To do the job you must have someone in mind or you wouldn't have mentioned it.

any idea why the paint came off ? Mine was the same so DIY painted it with wrinkle red today. It's not perfect as I left it fitted, but it's better than the flakey paint that was on it.

thats some idea ,did not see it at first look You painted it on a car, looks good that
think reason could be heat or poor maintenance before painting

cheers guys. I'm sure it's a big job stripping it off the car so spent some time unbolting the easy bits (intercooler was off to be painted too) masked off the rest then painted as best I could. It's not perfect but I hated the way it looked before.

heat is my bet
i mean storage before painting, than straight to paint , yes goes white unprotected or poorly protected like ours
mine was like that with just 55k miles, seen others with 100k without that issue
did You remove old paint before painting?

😂😂 I’m sure I read it can be used on glass too....Hopefully anyway as that’s the only reason why I bought it 😂
