Nice graph that.
Any one with a 2ltr and vf35 graph ?
Trouble im at I didn't want to go further than 320 really as I'd like to keep the car reliable instead of trying to get max hp from the turbo. So I need to find the best turbo for around 320hp . The car isn't a daily and I'd like to do the odd sprint day in it.

I'm running a VF28, quite an old turbo now and hard to get a good one, but the response is somewhere between a TD04H and VF35 in terms of spool. I get 1bar at 3k and 1.4 at 3500, 4th and 5th gears.
Here's the graph.

As said above, if you're in doubt then maybe go for a drive in a newage car with a bigger VF turbo on that's been mapped by a reputable mapper with sensible supporting mods.

You will be really surprised and won't want your TD04 after that I can tell you.
If you read my post correctly that is what I was saying about the 2.5 engine being able to aid the turbo spool ie less lag than a 2.0 litre

VF34 roller bearing turbo would be a good shout actually. It would spool up better than the VF35 sleeve bearing turbo and is suited to the 2.0L engine.

All the turbo shops prices include a rebuild, some are just reusing the original hotside.

Getting a wheel and cover for £150, is tempting, plus balancing (£50 dynamic rotor balancing, no idea of VSR CHRA balancing costs?), and you might as well fit new seals whilst you have it apart, so whilst cheap it does creep.

The hybrids making more power have modified hotsides, hence they flow more at high rpm but will sacrifice low rpm boost.

Just fitting a billet wheel with a decent design is a win win as you can increase efficiency without moving the boost threshold up the power band. Anything you do to the hotside like clipping, bigger turbine etc is going to gain flow at the cost of low rpm boost.

A quick run in some other Subarus to feel what its like would be great.

A lot of the time you can just change down a gear to drop back into powerband, I just dont want to find with a WRX having fairly long gears that there is a "hole" at a common speed.

Supporting mods will be the same for a hybrid td04 or VF35 so I will just pick bits up slowly and get the turbo last.
