Bought my 1st classic in 2002 sold that maybe 4 or 5 years ago and got an e36 M3. Lovely car, but missed the scooby. Didn't take me long to get another classic. Recently been prepping the M3 which I plan to sell later this year, at which point I'll prob spend a bit on the scoob and maybe get a cheap daily to prolong the life of the scooby 😉

I’ve been into Subarus since before I could drive. It was at a time I was just getting into rallying and so becoming aware of subaru, when a friend of the family turned up with a brand new my1997 uk turbo, much to my excitement!! And from then I was hooked. A few years later I bought that car off the friend and had it for a couple of years before selling it back to them.
I then had a couple of cars in the meantime including a wrx300, hence the username as I signed up to here quite late into my interest, but now I have a daily driver and that same my1997 classic back as a toy car. So three ownerships, but two scoobs!
Hopefully long may the ownership continue, now 37.

Nothing happened really i now have a R35 so wouldn't really want another Subaru after owning a R35 .....The STI (Mine was a 2005) was a really good car but it ain't know R35 that's for sure
I also think the German cars such has M4 C63 RS3 A45 are also much better than the new STI
Guess i just moved on Joz.

2002, but not been on here much since 2010 I guess... Still have a Hawkeye STi, but moved on to Evo X and 370Z to add to it. Thinking about a later 2.0GT DIT Legacy Wagon now...

Sold the Spec D in 2019 but kept hold of the Blitzen Leggy wagon. Would love to get a decent UK2000 for weekends at some stage but good ones becoming rarer by the minute...

Blimey, love the resurrected threads.
Been here1999 when it was a remember the milestone when 500 members was passed
Had a red wagon new in 1997 that took 9 months from order ! then had a P1 for nearly 4 years then had a gap and decided Scooby itch needed scratching and had a MY00 wagon for the last 15 years and for the last 2 or 3 years have been bringing it back up to tip top. Bodywork (arches) , Suspension (group buy springs and new dampers, extra camber top mounts etc), Brembo brakes (godpeed), G/box refurb, with CC lightweight flywheel and uprated clutch, Sti wheels and Pilot sport tyres...It really drives fantastically now.

Been on here since 2008, am 35 now! Had 3 Subaru's in that time: A classic UK turbo 2000, Blobeye wrx sti and my third is a built hawkeye sti which I've had for nearly 8 years. Been toying with the idea of selling up for an F80 M3 but I just cant bring myself to let go of it, nothing compares to the raw driving experience of a Subaru. So ill hang onto it for as long as I can before we are all forced to get electric cars

Still got two imprezas (bugeye WRX wagon & STI V6)
Still not driven a car I’d want to swap either for (and I drive a lot of cars) Modern plastic engine bay junk does nothing for me! (Prob working on them helps the hatred of modern stuff) “0-60 in 4 sec with DSG” boring after 2 squirts.
My classic is literally spine tingling as you partial throttle it to build boost.

Bought my first Scooby in 2010 and have not been without one since. I've been on here since 2012 although never used to post much. I'm now on to my 3rd & 4th Impreza. I'll be 41 this year.
First was a standard UK STi with the PPP. Was Sold to pay for my wedding with 63k miles on it. Sold to a baseball cap wearing chav who nearly lost it pulling out of my turning right after buying it. If this ones still alive it would be a miracle!
Then I had this WRX running 290bhp as a daily for 8 years. Great car and was mint. Shouldn't of sold it really. 1 previous owner and sold on 104k miles still on the original clutch!! Still in touch with the chap who owns it now.
Then on to the beast. UK non-widetrack 2.1cdb with hybrid GTX running 460/415. Not sure what will happen with this one now, keep or sell, unfortunately it's probably worth more in parts. Shell is currently on 46k miles with no rust.
The latest addition. Spec C Type RA of which I'm the only UK owner. Is standard apart from a few uprated mounts. It's just clicked over 33k miles. My favorite of the lot.
