Couldn't care less what others think of my car although most seem to like it.

Member since 2013, on first and probably only Subaru, 2006 Widetrack STI.

Got talking to an old boy at a car show at Knebworth back in August, he was telling me that he owns a uk300 and was 79 years old. I told him about Scoobynet and he replied that he doesn't do the Internet unfortunately. I'm 40 and have no intentions of selling, unless I die or lose my job, whichever comes first!

He did seem pretty well for his age, he said that unfortunately he had lost his wife recently and that the Subaru was the only thing keeping him happy.

I thought your car was a better spec than RIGNO. Bought from and specced by Andy Dorrington.

And that had all the besparts of the time - Ledas, AP brakes, SS exhaust, Link ECU and Nitos full carbon interior kit.

I do feel like a young in though, as I'm not 50 (yet).

There are others, some join dates got fucked up about 11/12 years ago, I forget exactly what happened to cause it though.

I've been here coming up on 13 years, still have the same car I bought in 2005, it's 24 this year, it's still never been remapped, and never had the engine pulled in my ownership.

Puff is still about occasionally, Trout and his numerous other pseudonym's haven't been on here for a few years now, to the best of my knowledge.

Both are on Facebook though.

Croney, no idea.

MY99 UK Turbo Saloon - Silver
MY98 UK Turbo Wagon - Reddish Blue
MY99 UK Turbo Saloon - White
MY99 UK Turbo Wagon - White
MY07 STI spec.D - Crystal Grey
MY00 UK Turbo Saloon - Dark Blue
MY97 STI V3 Wagon - Black
MY00 STI V6 Limited Wagon - Sonic Blue

...started whenever it says I did on the left, IIRC it was 2003 and got rid of my last Impreza in the last year or so, but I would like to return and pick up a mint UK Turbo 4dr (if any still exist?!!) at some point, but if not, then a fresh V4-V6 import instead.

I joined in 2009 and was the guy who had the thread that ran like wild fire. It ran so fast that I had to ask admin to delete it. ( I went on a date, thought it went well and then a few days later had a ‘copper’ leave me a voice mail saying stop harassing her!)

The guys here did do some funny photoshop but then the girls name got out and a few messaged her.

I only ever had one Subaru and regrets ever selling it.

I’ve been on loads of other car forums since and none have the layout and banter like this place.
Even a few old folk moaning with their Zimmer frames to keep us entertained

Well since then I’ve had 2 children and have a crappy Honda frv.

Yeah it does the kids and gets battered but I need something to polish for hours at a time.

Loving Forester Sti’s at the min
