Been here since 2006.
Had 5 Subaru's inc the forester I had for while.
Since april no longer own one as I bought a BMW.
But still work on all different models 5 days a week. So I still get my Subaru fix
First scooby a Legacy 2.2 GX saloon in 1996 I think... bought for snowy roads in bonny Scotland Had at least 1 scoob on the go ever since - apart from waiting for an insurance claim to come through to buy a replacement after 'an incident'
Member since 2013, on first and probably only Subaru, 2006 Widetrack STI.
Got talking to an old boy at a car show at Knebworth back in August, he was telling me that he owns a uk300 and was 79 years old. I told him about Scoobynet and he replied that he doesn't do the Internet unfortunately. I'm 40 and have no intentions of selling, unless I die or lose my job, whichever comes first!

79 with a Scooby? That is impressive. If I am not peeing myself at that age then I will be happy

He did seem pretty well for his age, he said that unfortunately he had lost his wife recently and that the Subaru was the only thing keeping him happy.
Have'nt long joined but better late than never... On my second scoobie got my first when I was 43 it was a WRX Hatchback. I have now upgraded to an STI and I'm 45
There are others, some join dates got fucked up about 11/12 years ago, I forget exactly what happened to cause it though.
I've been here coming up on 13 years, still have the same car I bought in 2005, it's 24 this year, it's still never been remapped, and never had the engine pulled in my ownership.

...started whenever it says I did on the left, IIRC it was 2003 and got rid of my last Impreza in the last year or so, but I would like to return and pick up a mint UK Turbo 4dr (if any still exist?!!) at some point, but if not, then a fresh V4-V6 import instead.
Joined in 2007, 3 scoobies.... 1994 sti number 1 of 200 bought in 2005. 2001 jap sti bought in 2009. Litchfield T25 Spec C Limited bought in 2014. age now 61.
I joined in 2009 and was the guy who had the thread that ran like wild fire. It ran so fast that I had to ask admin to delete it. ( I went on a date, thought it went well and then a few days later had a ‘copper’ leave me a voice mail saying stop harassing her!)
The guys here did do some funny photoshop but then the girls name got out and a few messaged her.
I only ever had one Subaru and regrets ever selling it.
I’ve been on loads of other car forums since and none have the layout and banter like this place.
Even a few old folk moaning with their Zimmer frames to keep us entertained
Well since then I’ve had 2 children and have a crappy Honda frv.
Yeah it does the kids and gets battered but I need something to polish for hours at a time.
Member since 2001, 3x Imprezas - Macrae, STi Prodrive and 22B UK.

But had rear arches repaired .....to a very high standard I may add,
